Microscopes International is pleased to announce the integration of its uScope Navigator application and uScope family of whole slide scanners with the Proscia Pathology Cloud™ platform.
Pathology Cloud helps users get started with digital pathology in minutes. At its core lies an as-a-service infrastructure optimized for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. The integration with uScope Navigator allows technicians to scan a tissue section, process it, and upload it to Pathology Cloud in a seamless, easy operation.
"This integration provides a tightly-coupled solution for sharing high-resolution whole slide images from the uScope™ slide scanner with pathologists world-wide. It makes the process of collecting the image, converting it, and uploading it a simple, single-click operation," said Jon Ward, CEO of Microscopes International.
uScope Navigator has been updated with two key features that support Pathology Cloud:
According to Microscopes International CTO, Richard Rainbolt, "The Tiled TIFF format gives the uScope instant compatibility with a host of existing applications and uses."
"Labs have increasingly been adopting digital pathology to drive revenue and efficiency and improve access to expertise," said David West, CEO at Proscia. "By integrating with partners like Microscopes International, our open-platform provides the best in class solutions pathologists need to drive the transition to a fully digital lab."
