uScopeGX-20 Geological Slide Scanner
20x(0.40NA) Objective
The uScopeGX-20 is a polarizing, whole slide scanner that is well suited to applications where scan speed, good depth of field, and polarization are required. It is able to scan birefringent specimens and produce high-resolution images at any polarization angle from 0° to 90°.
The uScopeGX-20 digital microscope comes with two objectives:
- 20x/0.40NA 160mm Conjugate objective (Brightfield)
- 20x/0.40NA 160mm Conjugate objective (Polarized)
The uScopeGX-20 is capable of scanning tissue and petrographic specimens that are very thick (up to 30 microns for petrographic slides). It is able to produce very high-quality images while browsing or scanning an area of interest.
The industry-standard USB interface makes the uScopeGX easy to plug in and start scanning slides. It easily interfaces with a Windows PC and allows you to view and capture whole slide images in a wide variety of environments.

The uScopeGX digital microscope is a single unit that can browse or scan your prepared glass slides. It is completely self-contained and requires only a Windows PC to scan or browse slides. The uScope Navigator application software enables you to easily capture single images or scan areas of interest.

Each uScopeGX is warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
The warranty includes all software updates while the unit is under warranty.
You may extend your product warranty each year by purchasing a Maintenance Agreement.
