uScope GX Recalibrate Analyzer Position
uScope GX

Information in this article applies to:

  • uScopeGX (All Models)
  • uScope Navigator V4.0 and Later

Article ID: GXA2397 — Created: 1 Nov 2022 — Reviewed: 2 Nov 2022

Symptom

The uScopeGX analyzer seems to be a few degrees (10-20) offset from where it should be. Is there a way to adjust the analyzer position calibration?

Cause

We have not identified any mechanical reasons for the analyzer position issue. The calibration could be affected by an illuminator that is too bright. Refer to Inaccurate Analyzer Position for more information.

Resolution

The uScopeGX automatically recalibrates the analyzer position each time power is applied. To recalibrate the analyzer, power the unit off and back on. If the analyzer is still offset after cycling power, refer to the knowledge base article above.
