What versions of the Platform Controller firmware have been released?

Answer

The following firmware versions have been released for the Platform Controller.

A15.020 (25 July 2021)

This version of the platform controller was released for use with uScope Navigator v4.5 and later. The following issues were addressed:

• Added support for new motor startup acceleration.
• Corrected a focus calculation that could cause focus position to be off by 1 step.

Note
There is no reason to upgrade to this firmware version unless so instructed.

A15.019 (28 September 2019)

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with uScope Navigator v4.5 and later. The following issues were addressed:

• Altered platform movement and ramp speeds, for uScopeGX models only, to reduce settle time.
• Changed the idle position for the X, Y, and Z axes.

A15.017 (18 April 2018)

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with uScope Navigator v4.3 and later. The following issues were addressed:

• Corrected a possible buffer problem that could cause the uScope to become temporarily unresponsive.

A15.016

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with uScope Navigator v4.3 and later. The following issues were addressed:

• Improved the robustness of the firmware updater.

A15.015

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with later release candidates of uScope Navigator v4.3. The following issues were addressed:

• Corrected a problem updating camera settings when switching between SD and HD camera modes.

A15.014

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with early release candidates of uScope Navigator v4.3 to enable field upgrades to the platform controller firmware.

A15.009

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with uScope Navigator v4.2 and later.

A15.005

This version of the platform controller firmware was released for use with uScope Navigator v4.0 and later.

A15.004

This version of the platform controller firmware was a pre-release version for use with uScope Navigator v4.0.
