I have several questions about the configuration files associated with a dual objective uScopeMXII.
Separate configuration files for each objective are included on the USB thumb drive you received with your uScope. The file extension is .PXM and the files are named based on the objective power. For example:
Most likely, these files will be found on drive E: or F: (whichever is connected to the thumb drive).
Whenever you change the objective, you must load the configuration file for that objective. The configuration files may be loaded from the Device Settings dialog.
Open the Control Panel for your uScope and select the Device Settings button.
Then, click the Load Profile button to select the PXM file to load.

Note
The default folder selected when loading or saving profiles is the configuration folder for the selected uScope. You may wish to save a copy of the profile for each objective in this folder to make future objective changes easier.
After changing the objective and loading the appropriate configuration file, you must recalibrate the objective camera to obtain proper color balance and flat-field information. Just removing and re-installing the same objective can make a small impact to the flat-field image. Refer to Recalibrating the Objective Camera for more information.
Each objective configuration file is saved with a different assigned name that appears in the uScope Navigator side bar and in the uScope Control Panel. This is shown in the following two Control Panel images:
You may, of course, change the assigned name to something more suitable for your needs. Refer to the following knowledge base article for more information:
