I just installed my uScope on a new computer and a Configure button appears on the uScope Control Panel. What does this button do?
When you first launch the uScope Navigator Application, it detects and adds your uScope to the side bar. When you select the uScope from the side bar, the Control Panel appears and indicates that the uScope requires initialization. The initialization process calibrates the overview and objective cameras and generates a flat-field image.
Click the Configure button at the bottom of the uScope Control Panel to start the camera calibration process. It is very important that you calibrate the cameras before attempting to use the uScope.
The configure button runs the Overview Camera auto-calibration and the Objective Camera auto-calibration.
