What is the uScope assigned name used for?

Answer

The Assigned Name that appears on the uScope Control Panel and in the uScope Navigator sidebar is simply a name you assign to a uScope.

It is very useful when you have multiple uScope devices connected to your PC. As you can see in the screen capture, an assigned name makes it easy to select the desired uScope from the sidebar.
