Summary

In uScope Navigator v4.3 and earlier, focus settings could be changed only from the Device Settings dialog. If you were in the midst of defining a job, this was an inconvenience.

Starting in uScope Navigator v4.5, local Focus Settings Pop-up Dialogs are now part of the Scan Configuration Screen.

Details

The Scan Configuration Screen includes a Focus Settings button that opens a Focus Settings Pop-up Dialog where you may adjust the focus settings to suit your requirements.

Focus Settings are provided for the following focus methods:

Select the Focus Method...

The Focus Settings Pop-up Dialog is context-sensitive and only shows the settings associated with the selected focus method.

You must first make certain the desired focus method is selected from the drop-down menu.

Adjust the Focus Settings...

Click the Focus Settings button to open the Focus Settings pop-up.

The parameters are the same as those found in the Device Settings dialog.

Note
Changes you make in the Focus Settings Pop-up Dialogs become the new default focus settings for the associated focus method.
