There is a problem in uScope Navigator v4.3 and earlier that may cause scan field image files (created when scanning) to be saved in the wrong image file format. When the PNG file format is selected for the Image File Format on the Program Settings — Application Preferences tab, images may be output incorrectly.
This problem does not occur when the JPG file format is selected.
A software problem in uScope Navigator v4.3 and earlier causes image files to be saved incorrectly in some situations.
Until a correction is available, select the JPG file format (the default) for scanned files.
This problem only affects scan field images and not images that are exported from the Deep Zoom image viewer.
This problem is corrected in uScope Navigator v4.5.
