Symptom

uScope Navigator v4.3 and earlier cannot create Deep Zoom or other whole scan images for regions of interest that are scanned with no overlap.

Cause

This is normal operation. When adjacent fields are not overlapped, it is not possible to stitch them together with uScope Navigator v4.3.

Resolution

In uScope Navigator v4.3, you must re-scan with overlap enabled to generate whole scan images (Deep Zoom, Tiled Tiff, Easy Zoom). Refer to the following knowledge base article for more information about overlap settings:

Status

uScope Navigator v4.5 generates whole scan images regardless of the overlap setting when the region of interest was scanned.
