How do I find the precise version of Windows that I'm using? I know I have Windows 10, but I need to get the complete version information.
In Windows 10, click on the Windows button (lower left corner of task bar) and type "settings". This opens the Windows Settings dialog which is the Windows 10 version of Control Panel (from previous Windows editions).
Click the System Icon to open the System Settings page. Then, click on the About Menu Item to open the About page. The Windows Edition and Version are listed near the bottom of the page along with the OS build number.
