Question

Is it possible to automatically create a deep zoom image after scanning a region of interest?

Answer

Deep Zoom Settings - After Scan CompletesYes. An option is available under Program Settings — Deep Zoom Options that allows you to select what happens regarding deep zoom image generation when a scan is complete. The following options are available:

  • Manual
This option selection requires that you click the Deep Zoom button from the Scan Window or Job Manager to create a deep zoom image. This is the default setting.
  • Prompt
This option selection prompts you to create a deep zoom image when each scan completes. You can opt to create the deep zoom image or exit and create it later.
  • Automatic
This option selection automatically creates a deep zoom image (using the default settings) for the completed scan.

Other deep zoom options you select on this dialog become the default settings that are pre-selected when creating a deep zoom image.
