Symptom

After updating the uScope Navigator Software, Program Settings are reset to their default values.

Cause

This is a known shortcoming in uScope Navigator v4.3 and earlier. It has been addressed and corrected in uScope Navigator v4.5.

Resolution

Before updating your software to uScope Navigator v4.3 and earlier...

1. Save the Program Options as shown in this knowledge base article (Saving/Restoring Program Settings).
2. Exit uScope Navigator and launch the installer for the update.
3. After updating, restore the Program Options from the saved profile.
4. Launch the updated uScope Navigator application.
