Are there any adjustments I can make to scan field overlapping to improve scan speed?

Answer

Image overlap settings, available under Device Settings — Scan Options, allows you to specify Custom X and Y overlap values for adjacent fields.

You may wish to reduce the overlap to 96 or even 64 pixels. Shrinking the amount of overlapped area requires fewer fields for the scanned region. You can also experiment with different values for the X and Y overlap settings.

Note
Reducing the overlap setting too much can result in fields that have little or no matching content. In such cases, the average observed overlap is used. Such scans may have numerous stitch artifacts.
