When scanning a region of interest that starts close to the top of the overview image, the first few rows of the scan repeat—row 2 has the same images as row 1.
or
When scanning a region of interest that starts close to the left edge of the overview image, the first few columns of the scan repeat—column 2 has the same images as column 1.
This problem is caused when the selected portion of the region extends past the home location of the X (columns repeat) or Y (rows repeat) axis. The home position is a mechanical limit of motion for each axis. Movement past the home position is not possible. And, any attempted movement past the home limit while scanning is ignored.
The root cause of this situation may be one or more of the following:
Currently, the only resolution for this issue is to return your uScope for repair. We will ascertain the cause of the region selection problem and either repair or replace the uScope.
