Whole Scan Images Poor Stitching on All Scans
Whole Scan Images

Information in this article applies to:

  • uScope Navigator V4.6 and Earlier

Article ID: NWS2394 — Created: 17 Jan 2022 — Reviewed: 5 Sep 2022

Symptom

Every Whole Scan Image I create appears to be stitched incorrectly.

Cause

We have discovered a problem in the way image overlap data is calculated and in the way image pyramids are output for some screen resolutions and some display scale settings.

Resolution

Check your display resolution and scale and change the scale to 100%.

  1. Right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
  2. Check the value selected under Scale and Layout to confirm that it is set to 100%.
  3. Exit and re-launch the uScope Navigator Application.
  4. Select and scan a new Region of Interest (it does not need to be very large).
  5. Create a Deep Zoom image to verify that this fixes the problem

Status

This is a known problem in uScope Navigator v4.6 and earlier that is corrected in uScope Navigator v4.7.
